Austin was recommended to us, and I am extremely pleased with the tutoring he provided for my daughter. She sought support in preparation for her A-level Chemistry exams, particularly with organic chemistry, which she found challenging. Austin explained difficult topics clearly and effectively, tailoring his approach to her needs. As a result, her confidence grew significantly, and she went into her exams feeling well-prepared and ready. Austin was my son's tutor, after my son decided to pursue a career in medicine, which required changing his A-level subjects and completing Chemistry A-level in just 15 months. Austin provided structure and consistent support, helping him cover all the topics he had missed and guiding him through revision on areas where he felt less confident. Austin made a significant difference to his confidence, and my son has now secured a place at his first-choice university. Austin helped two of my daughters, one with A level and one with GCSE Chemistry. He really helped and both said he really helped them understand the concepts they were struggling with and used great ways of explaining things so they understood things and both got higher grades than they would have without Austin’s help.

Austin tutored me in A-level chemistry and made a massive difference! I always found chemistry really challenging but Austin made concepts that my teachers had over complicated very simple and easy to understand and memorise. He also filled me with such confidence every session that I actually did understand chemistry and could do it! Austin has transformed my daughter's feelings about maths in just two lessons. With a lifelong fear of maths, after her first lesson, she declared, "maths is fun when you know what you're doing"! Austin explains topics patiently and clearly and pays close attention to filling the gaps in my daughter's knowledge. He has set targeted homework to help her consolidate her learning between lessons, vital as mocks approach in January. While I expected my daughter's mathematical understanding to improve with a tutor, inspiring enjoyment of the subject is a welcome and most unexpected gift. I cannot recommend Austin highly enough.

Austin tutored our daughter in Maths, Physic, Chemistry and Biology for 18 months prior to her GCSE exams in May/June 2019. We are very pleased with Austin's professionalism and level of knowledge. He was able to be flexible with what subject was more pressing on a particular day, adjusting from covering basics if needed to doing practice questions. Austin was always prompt and allowed some flexibility with sessions if there was a need for this. My daughter achieved level 9 in all subjects for which she received tutoring and she attributes a lot of her accomplishments to the tutoring she received from Austin. I have no reservations in recommending Austin for science or Maths tutoring, Having Austin as our daughter's tutor was honestly the best thing we could have done to help her with her GCSEs.

Whilst my daughter was doing well in all other subjects, she was struggling with maths, and was worried that it would prevent her from getting accepted for her A-levels. Austin began tutoring her at the beginning in January, and immediately began to improve her understanding of maths, and more importantly her confidence. I thought it worthwhile leaving feedback to say, that even though I was unable to organise tutors sessions as I did not have a compatible timetable and I left it a little late to organise, I did find Austin pleasant to talk to, organised, with good communications skills and overall very helpful. Since starting tuition with Austin my daughter has gained confidence in her own Mathematical ability and now approaches Maths questions with positivity. Austin is reliable and trustworthy. My son has found the on line tutoring provided by Austin easy to use and we feel it is an effective and efficient way to access support in preparation for examinations. This has been a great way to access tutoring as travelling for either the tutor or ourselves has not been an issue, time is not wasted, we do not have to take time off work to get our son to the tutor and our son is relaxed, at home, whilst learning. The online tutoring has been easy to set up, following step by step guidance from Austin. We are very pleased with the tutoring our son has received, Austin has taken the time to listen to what we feel our son's needs are and has developed a very positive tutor/student relationship with our son.
